24th Annual Tour of Homes event on Saturday, August 24 at 10a.m. to 4 p.m. in Manzanita, sponsored by Women’s Club.  It is a must-see event. Select properties represent diverse style and locations of homes.  Tickets on sale the day of the event only.  Funds raised go to a scholarship to a NeahKahNie graduating young lady as well as community organizations who work with children and women in the area.  Tour starts at the “community’s livingroom” at Pine Grove Community House at 225 Laneda Ave.  This historic registry award building is home to a community-use space upstairs and the Nehalem Valley Historical Society downstairs. See the updated kitchen maintained by the Women’s Club and historical information shared by volunteers from these organizations.
